It started as a passion project of Waseem Garbia, PA-C, a nationally recognized advanced cosmetic injector. Aesthetic Intel incorporates Waseem’s 15 years of hands-on experience in the aesthetic industry. As the founder of Dontage Medical Aesthetics Center, he has built a robust presence on social media, works with top injectors in aesthetic medicine, and is an elite injectables trainer for world-recognized aesthetic companies like Allergan and Revance. Waseem’s experience ignited a burning desire to build his own aesthetic training company with the goal of helping educate fellow medical providers, whether they’re looking to freshen up their skills or enter into the world of aesthetics… and that is when Aesthetic Intel was born.

Aesthetic Intel was created to deliver the most current and advanced techniques in medical aesthetics to students all over the world. Erika Barry (aka@InjectorBunny) and Waseem Garbia (aka@unfilteredinjector) have been close aesthetic colleagues for over 10 years. It all started when Erika met Waseem at a training in the DC area. She immediately knew his talent was on another level entirely, and admired him in the hopes of learning all of his insider knowledge. Over the course of her time learning from Waseem, they formed a close friendship that has been instrumental in excelling both of their careers in the aesthetics industry.

Waseem and Erika are both Allergan Medical Institute Ambassadors and Aesthetic Injectables Trainers for Revance Aesthetics. Waseem and Erika have attended and assisted in many master courses and have trained thousands of injectors across the nation. Their goal together is to change the game of injectables training, providing a close mentorship approach and hands-on experiences for medical providers looking to both enter and grow within the field. They want to incorporate a unique approach to teaching, and an unmatched method for shaping the future of aesthetics.

Waseem Garbia, PA-C

Founder of Aesthetic Intel

Waseem Garbia, PA-C, has over 20 years of experience in the field of Medical Aesthetics, as well as experience in training new cosmetic injectors and consulting new practices for those who are looking to add aesthetics to their current practice. His experience ranges from critical cardiology, general and plastic surgery, emergency medicine, and most importantly skin and aesthetics. He has extensive knowledge in the most current lasers, injectables, and clinical grade cosmeceuticals. Waseem is an Allergan Medical Institute Ambassador Trainer and Aesthetic Injectables Trainer for Revance Aesthetics.

He is also a National Speaker for the Alma Laser Company. He has attended and assisted many master courses and currently participates on numerous advisory boards. Over the last couple of decades he has utilized his skills as a master injector / trainer and he leaned in to learning the business of medical aesthetics and what employers are seeking when hiring Aesthetic injectors. He is extremely passionate about mentoring others and is excited to help others build successful aesthetic careers. Waseem truly enjoys sharing his knowledge of new and emerging techniques and creating a community within Medical Aesthetics.

Erika Barry, NP-C, MSN

Erika Barry, aka InjectorBunny, is one of the top aesthetic injectors in the country. She serves as an international trainer for industry power players such as Allergan, Revance, and Galderma, and as a leading speaker for Evolus, Merz, and InMode, where she also serves as expert faculty. Additionally, Erika provides her own private group training sessions across the country, spending a significant portion of her career educating top doctors, NPs, PAs, and RNs on cutting edge neuromodulator injections and dermal filler techniques.

Erika received her masters in nursing at the prestigious Johns Hopkins School of Nursing in Baltimore, Maryland. Following her time at Hopkins, Erika moved across the country to work at the University of California San Francisco where she trained under some of the country’s top plastic surgeons.

Eventually returning to the Washington, DC area, Erika partnered with a fellow injector to open Moksha Aesthetics, a state-of-the-art medical spa in Potomac, Maryland. In addition to Moksha, Erika has built a virtual community of injectors through her platform on Patreon, with subscribers from around the world tuning in to learn all things aesthetics. Through her page, Erika demonstrates injection techniques, showcases how to consult with patients, discusses business development and growth, makes product suggestions and lectures on anatomy. Launching her page in 2018, Erika was the first internationally recognized injector to start a virtual-learning platform for fellow injectors and medical providers looking to get into the industry, making aesthetics education easily accessible and more affordable for healthcare professionals.
